High-density roll brush for film perforating machines
A high-density roll brush that stabilizes fine hole punching while minimizing film misalignment and tearing.
In perforating machines that create fine holes in film, issues such as film misalignment or tearing often occur due to the pressure of the needle roll, making processing stability a challenge. At Kyoshin Giken, we propose a method to address this problem by using a high-density roll brush as a "soft yet firm supporting base." By supporting the film with the bristles over a surface area, the needle pressure is distributed, allowing the film to pass through stably while efficiently performing fine hole processing with minimized misalignment and tearing. Additionally, our strength lies in the wide selection of bristle materials; a blend of horsehair and pig bristle with wire achieves a balance of softness and resilience, gently supporting the film while maintaining its shape. Furthermore, in temperature ranges that horsehair and pig bristle cannot withstand, we can ensure heat resistance and processing stability by using Teflon or PPS bristle materials. In particular, Teflon bristles are less likely to accumulate fine debris, preventing reattachment to the film surface and contributing to improved finishing quality.
